About the team


Embedded in the People and Culture Directorate of Barwon Health, the Medical Workforce Unit is a high functioning and supportive team who oversee the Human Resources functions for all medical staff in the organisation.


About the Role
The Medical Workforce Coordinator plays a vital role within the team. Joining the Junior Medical Staff team, you will be responsible for providing a service to a portfolio and key functions will include;

  • Rostering and leave allocations
  • Unplanned leave cover
  • Participation in the Medical Workforce after hours oncall roster
  • Coordination of skilled migration
  • Facilitation of payments inclusive of leave, oncall, recall and overtime
  • Support in project development and implementation
  • Assist with annual recruitment as required
