Marketing and Communications Manager with Heart

Introduction:
This is a generalist leadership position across Marketing and Communications reporting to the Executive Manager, Strategy and Impact and offering you great scope in design and content with a supportive and motivated team to bounce off and collaborate with.
Description:
The purpose of this role is to showcase the range of inclusive connected services that CRCS offers across our region, making things happen - (for example, increasing the number of children who are enrolled in our Early Education Centres, gaining media attention to promote our fundraising activities or building the numbers of people we assist in Aged Care Home Services).
As a people person you will love the interaction between you, the management, the media, agencies, your team and clients.
As an experienced and innovative professional, with considerable knowledge and experience in the development and delivery of marketing, communications and community awareness initiative in this fabulous, energising generalist role you will be responsible for enhancing the profile of CRCS as well as driving leads for the Services key revenue areas.
Skills and Experiences:
To be considered for this critical, highly regarded and starring role you will have 7 years experience in a similar role preferable in community or similar, demonstrated writing skills with experience across all mediums, social media through to marketing collateral, advertising and campaigns.
It will be important to have experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Headless Wordpress, Google Suite (Ads and Analytics) and Campaign Monitor).
CRCS also requires all employees to:
- Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
- Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may effect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position
- Maintain full COVID19 vaccination currency and provide evidence of their vaccinations to CRCS (sensitive information is kept private and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles) unless they are able to provide suitable evidence of a medical contraindication that prevents them from receiving this vaccine.
Capital Region Community Services (CRCS) provides a wide range of high quality, integrated and inclusive programs and services to individuals, families, children and young people in the Belconnen and wider Capital Region.
CRCS works with community members, local organisations and businesses to develop responsive programs, services and activities that support self determination and reduce social isolation.
Strong relationships with government and other community services enhance CRCS's capacity to achieve our vision of an inclusive, connected community.
