An exciting & newly created opportunity has become available for Lead Information/ Record Tech Specialist in Melbourne.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and creation of the information management framework, including standards and procedures guiding lifecycle management, including Access, Creation, Retention and Disposal
  • Understand and design processes that consider regulatory and compliance obligations, including Privacy, the Protective Data Security Framework, and the Public Records Office
  • Design and oversee delivery of the processes for the Controlled Document Framework and compliance to ISO standards
  • Establish and deliver an audit program to identify risks and compliance gaps related to information management legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Lead governance program to guide and monitor the sharing of information and the management of third parties with respect to information
  • Support incident response and recovery activities with respect to information breaches
  • Design the approach for the collection of ediscovery requests that require the support of the team

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary degree in Information Management, Information Science, or a relevant experience
  • Extensive practical experience in enterprisewide information management processes and systems
  • Established experience in the design, creation, implementation, and management of an information management function
  • Strong understanding of the range of information management compliance obligations for which required to comply
  • Budget and contract management experience
