The Role:


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data and Business Intelligence this role is accountable for establishing and implementing the frameworks for managing information across its lifecycle, having regard to regulatory and compliance obligations, and the security value of the information we capture and create.


The role aims to support the ongoing effective performance of information management throughout our business, and is seen as a trusted advisor to Melbourne Water in information standards, risk, assurance and compliance management.


Your Skills and Experience:

  • Established experience in the design, creation, implementation and management of an information management function
  • Strong understanding of the range of information management compliance obligations for which Melbourne Water is required to comply, including the Public Records Office of Victoria
  • Extensive practical experience in enterprise wide information management processes and systems
  • Ability to lead change and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Tertiary degree in Information Management, Information Science, or a relevant experience
