An exciting job opportunity is available in our Health and Safety Consulting practice for a WHS Consultant role. Reporting to the Managing H&S Consultant, you will join a team of experts delivering a range of WHS services, from risk assessments to incident investigations to workplace inspections and offering guidance on all WHS-related matters to clients. This role involves providing health and safety advice and consulting services to medium to enterprise-sized clients across various industries in the public and private sectors.

Your responsibilities will include:
As a WHS Consultant, you will provide health and safety consulting and risk management services to Marsh clients and internal teams. This involves:
- Offering WHS advice, including compliance updates
- Conducting technical risk assessments and preparing reports
- Designing and delivering WHS training
- Developing and reviewing WHS management systems and documents
- Performing WHS site and system audits, along with other necessary WHS support services
- Producing high-quality written and verbal reports/advice promptly and accurately for clients
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with project management processes and procedures on all projects
- Supporting Project Managers in executing assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Assisting the team in implementing WHS IT systems for clients
Requirements:
- A degree in Work Health and Safety or a relevant field (Cert IV WHS + experience will be considered)
- 2-3 years+ experience in WHS advisory or a related role preferred
- Solid knowledge of WHS legislation and current issues in WHS
- Understanding of risk management principles and their practical application in WHS hazard management
Desirable qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training
- Exemplar Global WHS auditor accreditation
- Experience in implementing WHS IT Systems
