Policy Support Officer

We are currently seeking a Policy Support Officer to join our Real Estate, Proc & Ops Team based in Perth on a fixed term full-time basis.


The primary function of this position is to provide a range of policy and claims support functions to Workers Compensation Insurance.

Our aim is to provide consistent customer experience across Insurance by driving executional excellence of the "how" we do things.


What you'll do:

  • Monitoring and actioning the centralised mailboxes or Insurance Workflow systems.
  • Action and process exceptions from our extended offshore teams and ensure that work flows through to correct next step for our customers.
  • Strong emphasis on cross training within the team including yourself and team members
  • Update and maintain SOP's as requested by Technical Officer or Leaders, including identifying trends to reduce referral exceptions or improve customer experience.
  • Support Underwriting requests as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of our products and insurance guidelines
  • Adhere to the functional alignment model putting our customers first

What you'll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience and high performance in a business operations role
  • Proven experience in balancing multiple key deliverables in a dynamic environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in completing data input activities
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills including ability to deal with difficult customers and build relationships and rapport at all levels
  • Computer literacy and navigation skills.
