The opportunity

We have a fantastic
permanent opportunity for a proven Culture and People Manager to join us as a
People Lead for our
QLD Supermarkets portfolio .


The role

Reporting to the People Director - Supermarkets, you will lead a team of four Culture and People Partners and work closely with the States' Stores' Leadership team to drive the people strategy and embed our Culture, Leadership and Change Capability.

This role involved frequent travel to a geographically spread portfolio of stores and frequent travel to Sydney.

In addition, you will

  • Lead the delivery of the State people strategy that supports the delivery of the overall Australian Supermarkets strategy.
  • Provide coaching to the State Team to enhance and improve the leadership of teams in line with our values and ways of working.
  • Support State Teams in developing and implementing talent management plans for their teams and relevant talent, succession and development strategies.
  • Drive employee engagement with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Research and analyse employmentrelated data and provide insights and recommendations to enhance people processes and team engagement.
  • Lead the implementation of people change initiatives, including embedding principles in the change and helping leaders manage the impacts of change.
  • Lead an engaged highperforming people team to drive the delivery of the people strategy and initiatives for the business.

About you

You are an experienced Culture and People Manager with strong business partnering skills and a proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced, operational-style environment.

Frequent travel doesn't concern you; you enjoy the variety.

You will also have

  • A proven track record in a people leadership role driving positive Culture and People change, ideally within a large matrixstyle organisation.
  • Previous experience operating in a fastpaced environment with a geographically spread portfolio, ideally within the FMCG industry or similar.
  • A strategic and creative mindset coupled with strong commercial acumen.
  • Strong relationship partnering skills with demonstrated ability to advise, coach and support the talent and leadership agenda.
  • An ability to be 'handson', you are curious about the why and focused on outcomes.
  • A genuine passion for Customer and Team experiences.
