ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Maintain design standards ensuring that compliance, best practice and client requirements are met.
  • Develop new product and product improvement to meet market demands
  • Timely completion of design plans. Technical solutions are provided for all non-conformances to minimise the effect on clients.
  • Conduct investigations, perform complex calculations, and run tests as required using innovative approaches when standard ones are non-productive or inadequate
  • Provide engineering support to internal and external customers. Develop good relationships.
  • Be a part of a team that develops innovative concepts that solve client needs.
  • Technical compliance with AS17020 and AS3584

ABOUT YOU

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering / Diploma of Engineering
  • CPEng or RPEQ qualifications are highly desirable
  • Experience in manufacturing or heavy engineering desirable
  • A comprehensive knowledge of machine design and drawing requirements, particularly mining equipment and its application will be desirable
  • SolidWorks experience desirable
