As a
Chapter Lead Digital Content you will use your extensive experience and deep understanding of digital content to elevate our digital experience to global best practice.

You'll be responsible for leading copywriters who craft content that supports our objectives, and you will also write digital content and provide UX content solutions that assists with driving online conversion.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a high performing chapter of digital copywriters by coaching and mentoring team members to help them reach their full potential
  • Foster and drive a culture of continuous improvement, refinement and optimisation
  • Champion a digital first agenda across the business
  • Responsible for helping to support organisational targets: Digital Sales, Customer Experience, Digital Asset Performance & Compliance and People Leadership
  • You'll be responsible for crafting a written response to a wide range of briefs from a diverse range of internal clients. Tasks may include content for our selfservice app and eCommerce content for our online purchase journey including cart and checkout
  • Craft content for our conversion rate optimisation program, support pages, merchandising copy, digital campaign pages and product pages
  • Work closely with all areas of digital and internal clients to deliver accurate, clear and concise copy which advocates for the needs of the customer
  • Attend all required briefing sessions with other areas of the business
  • Work closely with developers for shoulderchecks
  • Present and justifying your work
  • Keep up to date with news for the business products and services, and digital trends

Knowledge and experience

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team
  • Significant demonstrated ability to craft UX copy and justify copy decisions
  • Significant demonstrated ability to craft digital content, subedit, shouldercheck and QA content, draw actionable insights from digital data
  • Significant demonstrated ability to craft digital support, merchandising copy and product content
  • Significant demonstrated experience in digital marketing and how content contributes to an optimised digital environment
  • Significant demonstrated experience working in an agile environment and comfortable attending agile rituals
  • Demonstrated experience with interpreting a brief
  • Demonstrated experience with Google Analytics
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Creative, flexible and energetic
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to juggle multiple competing tasks at any one time
