Reporting to the IT Area Lead, you'll play a key role continual advancement of our engineering mastery and practices such as Agile and Continuous Delivery. As a Chapter Lead, you'll at time function in one of our Squads and work in a cross-cutting role driving advancement in our engineering practices. You'll lead by example and coach others to develop and automate the testing of robust, adaptable code that is always production-ready.
Be part of a supportive and dynamic team, delivering innovative products, which are at the forefront of digital banking in Australia. Apply your skills in leading software engineering technologies to create new features and improvements throughout our technology stack.
What you'll do ......
What we're looking for...
Demonstrated experience and proficient understanding of tools across full software delivery lifecycle, ., IDE, source control, CI, test, mocking, work tracking, defect management. Payment industry experience is beneficial. Good understanding of software design principles and patterns. Experience in development/software engineering (Java / Web technologies and frameworks: Spring (Core, Security, MVC), JPA, REST API, Kafka) and preferably working within Banking & Financial domain. Technical leadership experience in delivery for software applications and projects. Hands-on experience on API related activities: requirement analysis, design, resource based API modelling, micro-services architectureWhat's in it for you?
