This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and energetic Health and Fitness Manager looking to lead our health club team and drive members achieve their goals.


The Role


This is an exciting time for Belgravia Leisure as we look to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced
Health and Fitness Coordinator to build and lead a passionate, professional and highly engaged fitness team.


As the Health and Fitness Coordinator you will be a strong people leader who will be responsible for the recruitment, ongoing training and development of all Health and Fitness staff.


You will oversee the day to day management of the health club, group fitness and personal training programs and will provide leadership and direction to ensure we meet the health and fitness needs of the community.

You will deliver and drive exceptional service and a culture of innovation.

The health club will offer a diverse range of group fitness classes, a highly qualified fitness professional team, relevant industry trends and a non-intimidating, welcoming and supportive environment.


You will identify opportunities (including new programs) to maximise participation and will develop and execute plans through engagement with the leadership team and key stakeholders.

With strong business acumen, experience as a leader in the Health and Fitness Industry and experience in delivering exceptional customer service you will continue to drive the overall fitness experience of our guests.


The Health and Fitness Coordinator's key accountabilities include:

  • Delivery of strong member engagement offerings that attract high attendance
  • Ensure all Personal Training sessions are tailored to our client's needs
  • Recruit and inspire a team of enthusiastic fitness professionals
  • Provide a quality group fitness timetable including seasonal and quarterly updates
  • Manage safe and efficient health and fitness programs within legislative guidelines
  • Ensure all health club and group fitness equipment is in safe working order at al times
  • Maintain NPS and mystery shop scores in line with KPIs adopted by Belgravia Leisure
  • Manage budgets and prepare required reports

About You
You will be a leader open to new ideas and discovering creative opportunities to get the community moving.

You have experience in leading a team to achieve collective and individual targets and are truly passionate about helping others achieve their goals.

You have strong communication skills that build rapport and positive relationships with people.

Ideally you will have at least 5 years' experience in the Health and Fitness Industry and proven experience as a personal trainer or exercise physiologist.

Leading by example is a high priority and you can positively influence and negotiate win-win outcomes. You possess values such as integrity, excellence, courage, openness, respect leadership and accountability.
