The Position:
This is an incredible opportunity to work as a full time, permanent O&G Consultant/Staff Specialist at a major hospital in rural NSW.
Provide high quality clinical and non-clinical services to a community that has approximately 1000 births per year.The Facility:
The 300-bed hospital is the biggest healthcare facility in NSW outside the Sydney-Wollongong-Newcastle metropolis.
The hospital provides specialist services to a population of around 70,000 people and is the referral hospital for the region.
Practicing medicine in a rural city like this can offer unique and rewarding experiences.
Rural communities often have strong social connections and doctors can make a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of their patients.
Specialist Registration with AHPRA as a FRANZCOG2.
Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain3.
IMG's eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)4.
SIMG's assessed by RANZCOG College as Substantially comparable (doctors currently interviewing with RANZCOG may express their interest)
