The Role

The Project Officer position involves providing administrative, resource, and project management support to the Youth Development team and co-located agencies for organizing activities, events, and projects/programs. Additionally, the role contributes to youth program delivery, facilitation, and supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing young people's social participation and inclusion.

About you

  • If you are enthusiastic about enhancing the well-being of young individuals and aiding them in flourishing.
  • You possess knowledge of and implement best practice frameworks and industry insights in the youth and human services sector, alongside an understanding of the local government's role in youth endeavors.
  • Comprehension of child safety principles and ethical practices in youth work.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, program facilitation, evaluation, and project management.
