About the role
We're seeking a self-motivated and customer focused Design and Events Coordinator to join our Brickworks Design Studio in Sydney.

Reporting to the Design Studio Manager, you will be responsible for influencing the long-term sustainable growth of the Brickworks Building Products group by facilitating stylish events where customers and staff can experience Brickworks products and service in a safe and fun environment.


Duties include but are not limited to:

***- Generate opportunities for events held by industry partners at the Design Studio;

  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Carry out colour consultations with project builder clients, completing colour schedules and achieving upgrades where possible;
  • Manage Design Studio events or coordinate these through third party event providers when appropriate;
  • Drive promotion of the Design Studio through collaboration with the Brickworks Group Marketing team;
  • Attend all events (where appropriate) to create and maintain relationships with customers;
  • Assist customers who visit the Design Studio, using all opportunities to promote Brickworks products;
  • Assist with meeting Design Studio key performance indicators, managing contacts and creating opportunities within Salesforce CRM;
  • Provide first class customer service in all instances;
  • Raise purchase orders, submit invoices, submit credit card expenses by due dates and in line with company policy; and
  • Assist with keeping running costs within budget.

Success Requirements:

***- Tertiary qualification in marketing, design or business/event management.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • Colour Consultation experience desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs desired.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Selfmotivated and strong organisational skills.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and solid numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with all staff.
