About The Role:

The YMCA WA is looking for Qualified Early Childhood Educators (Permanent Part-time) for the Yappara House Early Learning Centre team in South Guildford. We need a dedicated Educator with excellent communication skills, a passion for early childhood education, and the ability to form strong relationships with parents, colleagues, and kids.

Duties

  • Develop and execute programs reflecting children's interests, development, culture, and YMCA's Approach to Learning
  • Maintain children's developmental records as per Regulations and National Quality Framework
  • Show sensitivity and respect towards children's individual needs
  • Ensure a safe, hygienic, and stimulating environment for the attending children
  • Establish positive connections with children, families, and team members

Skills and Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (or in progress)
  • Proficient in programming
  • Understanding of National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012 and NQF
  • Experience in program development and implementation
  • Hold HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate, National Police Clearance, and Working with Children check (Willing to Obtain)
  • Prior experience in an Early Learning Centre
