Early Childhood Educator

About the Role:
The YMCA WA is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Yappara House Early Learning Centre in South Guildford. As a passionate and dedicated Educator, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a positive impact on the lives of young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a program that reflects children's interests, development, culture, and the YMCA's Approach to Learning.
- Maintain developmental records of children per the Regulations and National Quality Framework requirements.
- Show sensitivity and respect for individual children's needs.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic and inspiring environment for the children attending the Centre.
- Create positive relationships with children and families and team members.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (or working towards).
- Strong knowledge of programming.
- An understanding of the National Education and care services Regulations 2012 and NQF.
- Experience developing and implementing programs.
- HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate, National Police Clearance and Working with Children check (Willing to Obtain).
- Previous experience working in an Early Learning Centre.
