- Our beautiful Bellerine Lakes care home is located south west of Melbourne and is close to Geelong and the Surf Coast's beaches. Our home is surrounded be scenic views, with access to public transport. It consists of 108 beds with various care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and wellbeing of our residents.

About the Role
As the Recreational Activities Officer, you will drive the energy, engagement, and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational, and cultural activities.
Duties
- Plan, organise, and lead activities for our residents that will meet social and recreational needs while also promoting independence and increasing quality of life.
- Assess and document the effectiveness of the programs, by tracking residents' progress and changing the programs as needed
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of a Cert III in Leisure and Lifestyle
- Senior First Aid Certificate is essential
- Previous experience within an aged or community care setting
- Highly developed organisation and time management skills
- The ability to solve problems independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
