We are seeking a highly proficient and motivated applicant to join our team to provide timely and efficient administrative support and assistance to the HSEQ team across a range of functions.

This role involves promoting and implementing a safety-first culture.

Core responsibilities:

  • Maintain the training and induction register, skills matrix and training files.
  • Review tickets, licences and qualifications ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded, maintained and up to date.
  • Maintain the incidents and corrective actions register.
  • Maintain the safety equipment compliance register.
  • Create safety alerts and corrective actions as requested.
  • Complete site inductions for new staff including company procedures where required.
  • Ensure fire extinguishers, first aid kits, testing and tagging inspections and registers are up to date.
  • Assist in promoting and implementing a safetyfirst culture that supports continuous OHS improvement.

Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications
  • Certificate IV in WHS (highly regarded, however, not essential)
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, learn concepts and systems quickly.
  • Proficient computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office
  • Selfmotivated and able to work with mínimal supervision as well as part of a team with a demonstrated ability to manage one's own time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exercise tact, discretion and maintain confidentiality.
