The role


The Customer Care Representative will actively identify and respond to the varying needs and expectations of our customers and work across the multi-functional areas of debt management, customer assistance and working directly with vulnerable customers with the objective of ensuring a high level of customer service.

Functions performed by the Customer Care Representative adhere to regulatory guidelines, industry standards and Gippsland Water policies and procedures.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in resolving a range of complex customer queries.
  • Experience in negotiating successful outcomes for vulnerable customers and customers experiencing financial difficulties.
  • Debt management experience for nonpayment of accounts.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Welldeveloped written and verbal communication skills including strong computer literacy skills.
  • A commitment to delivering the best customer and stakeholder experience.
