Are you a reliable and business-focused general manager or management couple, looking for a fresh challenge?Do you want to develop your business management skills and advance your career, whilst living on-site and enjoying the resort lifestyle?We are currently seeking reliable, experienced and driven resort managers for properties in the South East Qld (Brisbane) and North Queensland (Cairns) Regions.

The Resort Manager is responsible for driving the successful day-to-day operation of the resort.


This includes managing interactions with unit owners, body corporate, suppliers, staff, and guests as well as responsibility for day-to-day operations, trust accounts, reporting, licensing and compliance.

Min 3 years resort management experienceA passion for creating exceptional guest experiencesStrong organisation and business/financial management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional presentation and personable dispositionStrong problem solving and dispute resolution skillsBlue card (or willing to obtain)

A typical day in this role may include:Ensuring all resort grounds & facilities are well-presented, safe and optimised for an excellent guest experienceReviewing and reporting on monthly financial resultsNegotiating contracts with suppliersManaging guest or unit owner complaints in a professional & timely mannerIdentifying opportunities to maintain and grow the letting poolLiaising with the external reservations and marketing team to review performance and discuss strategies for increased yield & occupancyReceipting trust account paymentsReviewing and updating policies & procedures to ensure compliance and professional management of the businessAttending meetings with partners or body corporateManaging any HR matters including recruitment, performance management, employment contracts, terminations, and conflict resolutionIdentifying and implementing strategies to optimise business operations, reduce costs and improve guest experience
