An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and experienced Business Manager to join the Urangan State High School Executive team on a full-time temporary basis from 29 July 2024 until 13 December 2024, unless otherwise determined.
In this role, you will workalongside a second Business Manager as integral members of the Executive team - leading our business support teams and renewal in our facilities, as well as contributing to governance and providing high quality advice to the Principal and broader leadership team.

About the Role
As an integral member of our Executive team, you will work alongside another Business Manager and five Deputy Principals to support the Principal's leadership of a complex learning environment.
The final portfolio of the successful applicant will be negotiated in convert with the other Business Manager and Principal, however experience in areas such as the following would be beneficial (though not required):
- Leading the refinement of a safe and happy workplace through innovation in workplace health and safety;
- Providing effective governance and advice in the financial resourcing of a large organisation; and
- Agility and innovation in the human resourcing of a complex learning environment.
As the Business Manager, you will:
- Provide regular strategic advice and planning support to the Principal and the Executive Management team in relation to financial planning and budgeting, human resource management, and facility and asset management.
- Manage the strategic operations of the school to ensure operations are managed professionally to align with departmental priorities.
The Business Manager reports to the Principal.
