AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including the public sector. The AWS Global Support team provides crucial support to leading companies, believing in the importance of world-class support for customer success. AWS Support collaborates with a global customer base that builds mission-critical applications on AWS services.

One of the main focuses of our Cloud Sales team vision is innovation and education, aiming to transform how we help customers scale. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to establish and maintain a strong sales pipeline, focusing on opportunities in existing accounts and generating new business in untapped customer segments.
  • Create and communicate compelling value propositions related to AWS.
  • Analyze metrics and data from your accounts to refine your strategies.
  • Drive customer adoption through education and engagement.
  • Collaborate with AWS consulting and technology partners strategically to deliver scale and value to end-users effectively.
  • Assist customers in identifying key use cases for adopting Amazon Web Services and implementing best practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

4+ years of technical sales experience in B2B environments, specifically in solution-sales or technology-related settings

  • Demonstrated history of consistent territory growth and achieving quotas.
  • Proven expertise in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Experience in proactively nurturing customer relationships and expanding understanding of their business.
