Pharmacist - Greater Adelaide

Client & Location Information:

Join a small, friendly team at a well-established pharmacy located just outside Adelaide in a vibrant metro suburb, 38 minutes south of Adelaide CBD. This pharmacy is conveniently situated within a shopping centre, only minutes away from the beach and within walking distance to a direct train line to Adelaide.

Job Specification:

We are seeking a full-time or part-time Pharmacist to provide professional services in a forward dispensing, patient-centred pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing vaccinations, UTI treatments, Medchecks, staged supply, and counselling
  • Ensuring safe and efficient dispensing services
  • Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships
  • Problem-solving to meet customer needs

Skills Required:

  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Proficient in problem-solving
  • Experience with the Minfos computer system is desirable
  • General registration with AHPRA

Salary & Benefits:

  • Pay Rate: $45 per hour, negotiable based on experience
  • Work Hours: Flexible schedule with at least one evening per week and one weekend per fortnight. Spread of hours is negotiable
  • Shop Hours: 9am-9pm Monday to Friday; 9am-7pm Saturday and Sunday; 9am-5pm on public holidays. Closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day
  • Team Structure: Work alongside 1-2 Dispense Technicians. Sole pharmacist required on weekends, with 2-3 pharmacists on weekdays

Additional Information:

  • Script Trade: 350 scripts on weekdays, 240 on Saturdays, and 180 on Sundays
  • Special Services: Manage 4 Methadone/ORT/CPOP patients and oversee 250 DAA/Packs prepared by technicians
