About the role

:
This second-line Compliance role is a member of the team responsible for providing dedicated business facing second line compliance support to Tyro's business units.

What you'll do:

Identify and analyse the impact of new/proposed/amended laws, regulations and industry codes for Tyro and recommend action plans to ensure compliance and oversee business unit implementation efforts. Maintain accurate systems and records of Tyro's interactions with its regulators. Follow up of accepted action items and ensure timely reporting back to the regulator. Contribute to the design, implementation and on-going improvement of Compliance manuals and policies. Manage the development and delivery of compliance learning. Contribute to Compliance reporting to boards and senior management. Assist Tyro with its delivery of strategic projects by representing compliance and providing business relevant and timely compliance advice.

What you'll bring:

Minimum five years' experience working in a risk, compliance and/or audit role, in a technology company or business unit operating in the finance or payments industry. Minimum three years advisory experience a Compliance function. Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation. Strong reporting skills – attention to detail with a data-driven / analytical approach. A team player who can work autonomously and is adaptable to change.
