How will I help?


As the Executive Manager for Data Management Operating System (DMOS), you will be Implementing and embedding the rollout of the Producer, Processor and Consumer (PPC) Framework across the Westpac Group.

You'll also be working closely with the Head of Data Management & Governance and Line 2 Data Risk teams to achieve this.


Some of the responsibilities of the role include:

  • Understanding The Group's Data Management and Governance framework: DM-OS (Data Management Operating System)
  • Understanding the genesis of the Data Producer, Processor & Consumer (PPC) framework and its importance in ensuring endtoend data accountabilities and data risk management across the Group's divisions
  • Plan and embed the PPC framework to the six highrisk data usages in FY2
  • Formulate a plan for the embedment of the PPC framework for the remaining 13 highrisk data usages
  • Provide advisory to the Group's divisions for the embedment of the PPC framework for new CDEs and data usage(s)
  • Ongoing designthinking and implementation to ensure that embedment of the data management operating models (incl. PPC) are scalable and sustainable for the longterm

What do I need?

  • Demonstrable experience in Data Management, Problem Management, Data Risk or Operational Risk, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
  • Strong experience in working with Senior Stakeholders in identifying and driving data issues prioritisation and remediation
  • Strong understanding of data management capabilities including business terms, critical data elements, data quality rules, data lineage and reference data
  • Deep end to end knowledge of the data lifecycle in a financial services business
  • Working knowledge of CPG23
  • Proven and successful experience track record of leading highperforming teams.
  • Education in Data Management, Risk, Analytics and / or Computer Science is an advantage
