Delmont is looking for Graduate Nurses to join their Mental Health Graduate Nurse Program for 2025. This program is specifically tailored for newly graduated nurses to boost their skills and confidence in the mental health sector, providing a supportive environment and opening up future career opportunities.
The 12-month Mental Health Graduate Nurse Program includes rotations in various clinical areas such as General Adult Psychiatry, Substance Use and Addiction, Aged Mental Health, Neuro Stimulation Services, Delmont Day Program, Inpatient Therapy, Young Adult Program, and Community Outreach Services.
Although targeted at newly graduated nurses, the program also welcomes applications from registered nurses looking to transition into mental health nursing.
Responsibilities/ Key Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of relevant guidelines and legislation for optimal nursing practice
- Accurate documentation maintenance as per hospital policies
