Release Manager - Integration and Systems - Australian Citizenship required.


The Release Manager - Integration and Systems Delivery, reporting to the OCIO Director of Integration Delivery, is responsible for the establishment and execution of Release Management processes to support the client Business System release schedule.


Duties

  • Establish and maintain the Release Management processes in consultation with relevant OCIO and Business stakeholders including third party suppliers
  • Develop and maintain the Release schedule balancing technical dependencies and business requirements, compliance and other priorities
  • Drive regular OCIO release management forums using OCIO's work management tool set as the primary point of reference
  • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
  • Coordinate the production of Release, Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans
  • Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges
  • Ensure all OCIO ICT Change Processes are followed including Cyber assessments, Penetration testing, go/nogo gates
  • Actively manage delivery of the organizations Business System Release schedule using OCIO's standard Project Management tool, including management of plans, risks, issues and key decisions
  • Coordinate the production of weekly OCIO Release Status Reports and review with the Director, Integration Systems Delivery, and other relevant functions

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience of at least 35 years in establishing and managing Release Management processes in an enterprise business system context.
  • Enterpriselevel experience in managing Releases and delivering systems based on contemporary platforms and architectures (e.g. MuleSoft and Salesforce) including high level of integration to internal and external systems
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications; and an industry recognised qualification in project management, such as Diploma of Project Management; or SAFe Agile.
