The
Regional Service Manager - Southern Team for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providing leadership excellence for the Southern Service team.

This position is part of the Service Department located in Melbourne - Mount Waverley site and will be hybrid.

Our service mission here at Beckman Coulter is to provide the Best Customer Service as it relates to Service Effectiveness, Efficiency and Engagement which complements our vision to double the number of patients we reach in the next 5 years.


You will be a part of the ANZ Service Team and report to the ANZ Customer Support Manager responsible for service delivery in the Southern Region (includes Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania).

This includes working with the Engineer team to deliver world-class service to our customer base.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive Service Effectiveness across a number of Service related KPIs including PMOTD, Mod Completion, Repair Visits and Installations
  • Look for efficiencies in the department by facilitating resource planning, parts planning and availability for the Southern Team and ensure Service costs for your team are well managed
  • Drive Engagement in the team through highlevel communication and planning. Ensure the Southern Service Team needs including training and development are planned and met. We want our Service Manager to have a highly motivated team who will drive the Beckman Coulter Service brand forward with the customers they serve.
  • Build strong relationships across our customer base through regular meetings and communications. Work with our customers in partnership to help them improve their business delivery in improving patient outcomes
  • Planning and executing Preventative Maintenance (PMOTD), Product Safety and Quality Modifications, Repair Visits, Phone Support to customers, Installation and decommissioning of our products into and out of customer sites

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Tertiary qualifications (Technical or Engineering discipline)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the medical devices and/or healthcarerelated industry, along with min 2 years of field service supervisory experience, leading a team of 10+/ in the related fields.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively with all levels.
  • Effective planning and organizing n skillsets.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Masters in Business would be preferred
  • Experience in working within the regions
  • Clearly demonstrated career progression and leadership
