About the role:

This service specialist role is responsible for Suncorp's Collaboration technologies, primarily Audio Visual / Video Conferencing and is focused on governing IT Managed Service Providers to deliver best in class, end-to-end operations and run database services, through governance, reporting and continuous service improvement initiatives.

You will have previous experience with Cisco VC administration including O365 and Teams administration and have solid written/verbal communication skills. Experience working with off-shore partners/MSP providers would be beneficial.

What you'll do:
  • Ensure the availability and health of Audio Visual & Video conferencing systems and services.
  • Govern IT Partners to deliver best in class services, through Governance, Reporting and Continuous Service Improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to Build to Run framework enabling a fast pace of change and transition into production.
  • Provide support for the environments during a critical incident which may occur outside of business hours
  • Managing Managed Service Provider staff and ensure data is up to date including but not limited to learning and access.
  • Reducing technical debt to improve availability and overall costs of maintenance and Managed Service Provider contracts.
  • Develop end-to-end monitoring, alerting and automation to enable proactive operations and self-healing capabilities.
  • Supporting the identification and remediation of complex problems.
  • Utilising technical knowledge and skills to influence priorities, initiatives, roadmaps, enhancements and improvements.
  • Work closely with Platform teams to understand dependencies that may impact the successful delivery of projects.
What you'll bring:
  • Three years Cisco VC administration (or equivalent) experience in a medium to large organisation (mandatory) eg O365, Teams administration
  • Demonstrated experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Cisco video conferencing and audio-visual equipment.
  • Proven capability in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting a variety of AV equipment and systems, including microphones, speakers, video monitors and related technology.
  • Working in the financial/insurance industry would be beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and a team-player with a flexible mind-set
