About the Role
The Contracts & Business Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Providing legal advice to stakeholders
  • including managing engagement with external legal services
  • Leadership and guidance in the areas of contract development; negotiation; execution and through life contract management
  • Contribution to commercial negotiations where required
  • Establishment, implementation and continuous improvement of risk monitoring systems and process to ensure satisfactory compliance by stakeholders across the group. This shall include the preparation of associated reporting for management
  • Providing training and support for stakeholders with respect to effective contract management

About you

  • Formal qualifications in finance or law are highly regarded
  • Highlevel communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven organisation and administrative skills
  • Experience in the mining sector highly regarded.
  • Able to work on own initiative, within specified timeframes
