The Opportunity


Visy Logistics, part of the wider Visy Group, provides global logistics services with comprehensive and competitive ocean, air, road, rail and domestic freight, intermodal and 3PL capabilities.

We offer genuine end-to-end logistics, taking full advantage of the Group's existing supply chain network


You will have a tremendous impact in shaping the future state of this growing division, developing, and implementing our international airfreight product offering whilst managing the complexities of market differentiation through service excellence and offering.

With your strong background in Airfreight product, you will enjoy working on the Internalisation and enabling external Business Development and growth through innovative system solutions & seamless customer integrations.


The Role


Reporting to the General Manager - Global logistics and based at our office in Epping, your role is responsible for developing our regional airfreight strategy including international airfreight product and global network expansion.


Including but not limited to, you will:

  • Develop, execute and maintain a Core Carrier Program in alignment with Global Logistics team
  • Implement and enhance air products, console, courier, express & freighter
  • Publishing 'product driven' pricing guidelines for Sales as well as cost and productivity optimisation
  • Procurement of all air related servicesWork with Regional and Country Managers to manage air contract negotiations
  • Manage product yield and profitability and Identify Air Freight growth opportunities new customers, new markets

What you need to bring to the role:

  • Strong prior experience in Airfreight product, management & operations coupled with commercial acumen
  • A high degree of business maturity and emotional intelligence with a strong data driven, analytical mindset
  • You are hands on, tenacious and not afraid to take ownership and accountability
  • You pride yourself on your outstanding communications skills and deliver sound business outcomes
  • Your ability to build relationships with external and internal stakeholders from all levels makes you a true enabler
