About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Manager Funding and Billing to join a top provider in the aged care field. This role is vital for handling and enhancing funding and invoicing procedures for various community services such as In-home Aged Care, Disability Services, and Social Services. You will also be responsible for overseeing billing for Residential Aged Care in partnership with the RAC Manager Funding and Documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the organization receives suitable funding for each client through different sources like government rebates, HCP, CHSP, NDIS, and client fees.
  • Streamline the invoicing process to ensure clarity, transparency, and alignment with funding entitlements, contributing to a positive client experience.
  • Monitor client balances, address non-payment issues, and manage potential bad debts to ensure compliance.
  • Establish the Funding and Billing team by creating structures, processes, and systems. Provide guidance to team members and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support field staff by enabling them with effective processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Finance, Corporate Services, and Executive Directors on potential funding sources. Support the Grant Writer as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Offer SME insights for Business and Mission to refine service lines to meet evolving client needs.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing funding and billing in aged care, disability services, or social services.
  • Understanding of government funding mechanisms like HCP, CHSP, and NDIS.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Collaborative spirit to work across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial management and regulatory compliance.
