About the role....

We are searching for a Business Development Executive to join the national sales team based in Melbourne

Reporting to the Associate Director of Sales – Vic/Tas and based at The Savoy Hotel on Little Collins Melbourne , this role is responsible forbuilding strong client partnerships, retaining existing business, and developing new business to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Working with the existing client base, to nurture and retain business.
  • Introduce new business opportunities, through sales calls, presentations, and property site inspections
  • Develop and retain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare correspondence, proposals, and tenders.
  • Participate in relevant travel and trade shows.
  • Previous sales/business development experience in a hotel environment
  • A strong proactive networker with a proven track record of business development
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills
  • Good knowledge and skills with MS Office Suite (including Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Immaculate grooming and personal presentation
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Drivers Licence ESSENTIAL
