You will take on a crucial role in enhancing the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system to facilitate data-driven decision-making for program/project delivery within the Delivery Services Branch.

The Role:
You will offer specialized expertise to enhance the PPM system for efficient data capture and generating business insights to drive the successful delivery of large-scale, intricate Information Management (IM) and Information Communication Technology (ICT) program/projects.
The primary responsibility involves managing PPM system enhancements by identifying improvement opportunities and developing solutions that meet customer needs and are sustainable across the delivery landscape.
This role will also contribute to advancing delivery support functions, analytics, insights practices, and maintaining financial and project delivery reporting dashboards, reports, and data assets.
Other key responsibilities include:

  • Provide reporting support for complex IM and ICT program/projects.
  • Maintain essential project information for reporting purposes.
  • Utilize project management techniques in line with organization policies.
  • Collaborate with programs and projects for accurate reporting.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to track program/project progress using tools like Power BI.

Is this role right for you?
This position demands significant experience with Microsoft products (Project Online, SharePoint Online, PowerBI, Azure, and related technologies), along with project management expertise for IM and ICT program/projects.
Your strong negotiation and communication skills will be vital for liaising with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating team efforts, and preparing communication materials.
You should have a creative flair for designing executive reports and the ability to analyze, plan, and manage work packages effectively.
Additionally, a thorough understanding of project management methodologies and the capacity to offer expert advice on project techniques and tools are essential.
Experience in managing communication channels, stakeholder groups, and facilitating business change decisions is required.
