The Role & Project

Due to recent project awards MACA Interquip Mintrex is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our growing team here in West Perth.

The Senior Project Engineer provides technical support and guidance to the Project Manager and Construction Manager on the day-to-day operations of the site and maintaining the required registers and documentation. Ensures satisfaction of contract prerequisites of all engineering activities, design project, framework, and procedures

Responsibilities include:

  • Surveys item structure for consistence and security adherence to organisation guidelines, client contract prerequisites, and ensures completion within deadline.
  • Assisting Project / Contracts Manager.
  • Overall project planning and scheduling.
  • Assist in managing project budget.
  • Ensuring the requirements of the Contract are being satisfied.
  • Provide daily progress reports to Project / Contracts Manager

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering qualification or equivalent professional knowledge gained through significant experience working in a similar role.
  • Postgraduate degree in construction management (desirable).
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in construction projects.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
  • Effective organisation and planning skills
