Bethanie Community provides a wide variety of services to clients covering day to day living needs in their own homes including personal care, domestic and gardening services, respite services and social support in Geraldton, Perth and in the South West.

You will join a dedicated team of people who are passionate about getting to know the people they care for.


We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic and highly flexible individuals to join our Bethanie Community South Metro team as a
Qualified Support Worker supporting areas from Melville, Willetton, Spearwood and all suburbs in between.

This role is currently available on a
permanent part time basis, working a minimum of 20 hours.

You are required to be available from
Tuesday to Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm or
10:00am - 5:00pm.

About the role:

  • Professionally deliver a variety of services (including: food, laundry, personal care, leisure, supporting hobbies and interests & domestic cleaning)
  • Ensure all living areas of clients' homes are kept clean and tidy, and safe from hazards
  • All personal care tasks and outcomes are met and documented appropriately
  • Provide respect and compassion to clients
  • Support customer with transport to appointments
  • Provide social support to customers spending time doing the things they love

Whilst you use your own car we offer a generous travel allowance of $0.92 per kilometre.

About you:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • Previous experience within an Aged Care, or Community Care environment desired if you haven't worked in the industry tell us about your passion for older people
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Ability to ensure safety and wellbeing of clients are maintained
  • Drivers licence, and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Willing to obtain required vaccinations 3 x covid vaccinations and annual flu vaccination
