Based out of our Oakleigh site, The Finance Manager – Opal Speciality Packaging (OSP) will be responsible for the management of the monthly forecasting process and supporting analytics as to the business performance and trends, including weekly and mid-month results review. In addition, to annual budgeting, quarterly business review and annual strategic planning processes for the OSP Group.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

  • Management and co-ordination of the business units balance sheet reconciliations and review processes
  • Responsible for the general ledger and associated processes, ensuring data integrity throughout various systems: TM1,PRISM, SAP and Hyperion
  • Management of the statutory, half year and annual reporting processes as it relates to submission into OFP Group Corporate and Opal Corporate
  • Management and co-ordination of the business units capital expenditure cash flow management process
  • Internal control, including DOA management, internal and external audit processes. CSA requirements

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;

  • Degree in Finance, Accountancy or Commerce including a post Graduate Qualification of either CPA or CA
  • 8+ years' experience in a finance / commercial management role within a manufacturing environment
  • Standard Costing and Financial Management exposure
  • High computer literacy skills (including SAP and Microsoft Applications)
  • Self-Motivated with a 'Yes We Can' Approach to Work and a drive for results
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure with Tight Deadlines
  • Managing Complex Systems
