Job location
Thomas Embling Hospital, located in Fairfield just 15 minutes north of the Melbourne city centre. Due to our announced expansion, we have a need for experienced like-minded professionals to join our team.

Thomas Embling Hospital is a secure Mental Health, currently 134 bed, hospital providing acute care, rehabilitation, and continuing care programs.

With planned expansion commencing 2024 with significant increase in access to care, we will have a dedicated Women's service and an additional medium secure men's facility.

About the Role:

  • Providing training and support to clinical staff
  • Support clinicians at varying levels of experience
  • Contribute to supervision and quality improvement initiatives

Duties:

  • Support graduate clinicians across the organisation
  • Provide supervision
  • Develop processes and supports for quality improvement initiatives

About You:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Occupational Therapy
  • Mental health experience
  • Ability to translate knowledge and influence change

What you need:

  • Approved degree in Occupational Therapy recognised for membership of Occupational Therapy Australia
  • Australian Association of Occupational Therapists.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).
