We are looking for passionate individuals from different backgrounds to work in the Eastern suburbs and Northern suburbs to join our team to provide support to our aged clients to remain in their homes living active and independent lives.


As a Home Care Support Worker in Community Aged Services Department, you'll provide personal, in-home support to some of our most vulnerable community members.

With respect and care, you will make a difference by ensuring that they can live independently at home while supporting their ability to continue with their daily living activities.


Your Key Responsibilities will be to:

  • Support community members in their own home;
  • Provide assistance with all aspects of daily living as identified in their individual care plan

This could include:

  • Personal care;
  • Monitoring medication;
  • Home respite;
  • Shopping and transport;
  • Mobility;
  • Socialising;
  • Housework, laundry, and meal preparation and assistance;
  • Maintain accurate client documentation;
  • Work closely with the community member, plus their case workers, family members, and carers.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Requirements for success:

  • Desire to support older people with daily living activities;
  • Experience in the Aged Care sector or related work (personal experience counts);
  • Knowledge and understanding of the needs of aged clients and their carers;
  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Home Community Care, or equivalent qualification;
  • Current unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence, car insurance, and own vehicle;
  • First Aid Certificate;
  • Knowledge of personcentred approach to client care;
  • Knowledge, sensitivity, and an understanding of Jewish values, heritage, and culture.
