What you'll do:

As the Platform Lead (Calypso), you will be instrumental in driving the quality assurance of our advanced trading systems. Your expertise in Calypso will be crucial as you lead a team of testers, developing comprehensive test plans for our trading applications. You will collaborate closely with diverse teams across development, operations, and business units to deliver robust testing solutions. Your role will involve identifying and documenting defects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, conducting various forms of testing, analyzing results, and continuously improving our testing methodologies.

  • Lead and manage the testing team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
  • Develop, implement, and maintain test strategies, plans, and cases for Calypso-based applications
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high-quality deliverables
  • Identify and document defects, working collaboratively with development teams to resolve issues
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing
  • Conduct performance, regression, and functional testing to validate application functionality
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Platform Lead (Calypso) position brings a wealth of experience in software testing, particularly within financial services. You will have a proven track record in leading testing efforts and a strong expertise in Calypso. Your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with your ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, will be key to your success in this role. Experience with Agile methodologies and relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance would be advantageous.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a lead role
  • Strong expertise in Calypso including experience with its modules and configurations
  • Proven track record of leading testing efforts in financial services preferably within trading or stock exchange environments
  • Solid understanding of test automation tools and frameworks
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills coupled with strong organizational abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is desirable
  • Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance are preferred
