About the Opportunity:


We are currently on the search for our next Team Supervisor for Maintenance to join a dedicated team in our West Footscray Baking site.

Running on a 24/7 roster you will be responsible for a high performing team of fitters and electricians alongside managing third party suppliers and contractors ensuring the successful ongoing maintenance and reliability of the site and machine line equipment.

To be successful in this role you will need to have strong organisation skills, an ability to lead a team of fitters and electricians alongside showcasing strong stakeholder management skills across the board.


Shift Pattern:
Monday - Friday, day shift

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Maintenance teams to deliver highly reliably equipment across the site
  • Set clear expectations and goals for all members of the team that are aligned with the objectives of your strategic plan and the sites objectives
  • Ensure all maintenance, reliability solutions and projects are geared to delivering the production, safety and quality objectives
  • Lead from the front, set safety, environmental, quality and behavioural expectations and adherence
  • Create and maintain an eliminate waste and continuous improvement culture
  • Build capability within the team and to the broader production teams. From understanding basics to imparting technical competence to nontrade personnel
  • Help support the maintenance teams on the floor and lead by example

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills
  • Electrical or Mechanical Trade Qualifications
  • Essential
  • Engineering Diploma &/ or Degree (Mechanical or Electrical)
  • Desirable
  • Post trade qualifications in business management/ reliability or planning desirable
  • Experience in Predicative maintenance solutions
  • Experience with continuous high speed processing and packaging equipment in an industrial food production environment or relevant experience in an industrial maintenance environment advantageous
  • 5+ years in a leadership role
