We have a exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join our Therapy Services team, based out of our Elizabeth location.


  • Permanent Fulltime position.
  • Work with a broad range of other highly skilled allied health professionals
  • Supportive team structure with regular supervision from Clinical Lead Social Worker

Your new role

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assess the social needs of individuals utilising appropriate assessments, intervention strategies and processes
  • Develop and maintain flexible and effective communication with individuals on the spectrum and any relevant stakeholders
  • Utilise Social Work knowledge and skills to provide consultative support to relevant stakeholders as appropriate
  • Use evidencebased assessment tools, to lead assessment of real need and real risk for individuals and/or their families
  • Use evidencebased interventions and strategies to create individual goals and outcomes in collaboration with clients and other relevant stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree in Social Work recognised by the Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Registration (or eligibility to register upon appointment) with the Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Substantial experience in working directly with individuals on the autism spectrum
  • Substantial experience in consultancy in the field of disabilities, and working collaboratively with families and service providers.
