The Opportunity:


Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Functional Assessor to join our team on a full-time basis to provide and undertake physical capacity assessments and administration support relating to WHS and our recruitment process.

This is a dual role with variety, and we are prepared to train the right person to ensure a perfect fit for our team.


About the role:

  • Coordinate and undertake functional assessments and analyse medical reports
  • Train staff and employees in manual handling
  • Assess the client worksite to assess the physical requirements of a job in the workplace
  • Conduct Safety Site Inspections
  • Assist with Injury Management and RTW
  • Consultation with management, staff, and clients regarding functional assessment results and requirements
  • Maintaining the functional assessment procedures and documentation
  • May include support for the Recruitment Team

To be successful you will need the following:
Qualifications in Health Sciences & Allied Health (Degree) in one of the below, or similar

  • Physiotherapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Exercise Physiology
  • Exercise Science (Exercise Sports Science)
  • Registered Nurse

Skills:

  • Intermediate Microsoft office capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • The ability to work well in a fastpaced environment
  • An effective problem solver
  • A proactive approach
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
