The Role:


Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Business Partner is a key leadership role in the Business Services Team and is accountable for supporting the Payables process across all Business Units in GWF.

This role makes it easy for our customers by having a strong service delivery focus and is accountable to ensure internal service level agreements are met, and internal & external customer satisfaction is maximised.

This role will also be supporting transformational change, exploring, and leveraging latest technology, and play an active role in the review of the process and systems.


On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Demonstrate constructive and inclusive leadership by driving team engagement and setting the daily operating rhythm of the team
  • Continually seek ways to improve processes ensuring continuous efficiencies, targets and KPIs are met
  • Monitor performance of the function against aligned SLAs and external benchmarking
  • Supporting the management of the AP ledgers
  • Ensure invoices are approved according to the purchasing procedures and set policies
  • Accounts Payable control across all GWF

About you:

  • Qualification desirable in Business/ Accounting or similar
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally
  • Proven experience identifying and deploying process improvements
  • Analytical and problemsolving ability with the capacity to provide insight and quickly identify ways forward when presented with issues
  • Solid understanding of Purchase to Pay process


The Accounts Payable Business Partner is responsible for leading performance and engagement within the team and collaboration within the Business Services team, so that they maintain a strong customer service model and support environment.
