Customer & Digital Group Digital Business Group; Customer & Digital Strategy; Queensland Government Customer & Digital Group; Brisbane The Information Security Team manages the internal Information Security Management System (ISMS) for Queensland Government Customer and Digital Group (QGCDG) business areas.

As the Manager Information Security, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of information security professionals in the development of strategic and tactical ICT information security activities that will allow QGCDG to protect its information and meet its cyber security obligations.


  • Provide a platform for QGCDG's information security risks to be managed according to the implementation of a practical Information Security Management System (ISMS) that is compliant with required Queensland Government standards.
  • Manage the development and implementation of information security strategies, security standards, procedures, controls and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse system environments.
  • Collaborate with QGCDG business units to lead the development of an agreed integrated, prioritised, time bound and costed program of work comprising business as usual activities / initiatives to address gaps and to achieve compliance.
  • Develop, plan, implement and monitor formal communication strategies and security awareness programs that address key cyber security issues.
  • Proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of your staff.
