Job Description:

Job Summary:

The APAC Information Security Manager plays a crucial role in protecting our commercial transportation programs throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), this position involves overseeing security and compliance initiatives. As a Global Process Owner (GPO) for Cyber Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), this role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to influence our cybersecurity landscape.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Security Governance: Ensure regional technical implementations comply with operational security standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Represent senior security to regional management, customers, and partners, leading security discussions and interactions.
  • Compliance and Standards: Supervise adherence to international and regional standards like ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC 1/2, and NZ ISM to align programs with contractual and regulatory obligations.
  • Risk Management: Lead vulnerability management and perform comprehensive risk assessments to bolster resilience against cyber threats.
  • Awareness and Training: Enhance internal cybersecurity awareness, fostering a security-centric culture.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to global security strategies and provide security expertise for regional bids to support business development.
  • Vendor Management: Ensure third-party compliance with security requirements, safeguarding our supply chain.
  • Reporting and Policy Development: Deliver detailed GRC reports to the CISO and maintain Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Manage a regional information security team and oversee hiring and team management to support APAC program needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
  • Essential: University degree or equivalent; substantial experience in a similar capacity.
  • Desirable: Advanced degree in a technical field; professional certifications (IISP, CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISA).
  • Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
  • Extensive knowledge of PCI-DSS, ISO-27001, and cloud security practices.
  • Minimum 8 years in cybersecurity with GRC focus.
  • Proven ability in customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Personal Qualities:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adept at adapting to challenges.
  • Capable of independent work and effective team collaboration.
  • Employment Condition:
  • Must clear a National Police Check.
