Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance and support to consumers in their daily activities.
  • Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and mobility.
  • Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations or incidents.

Key Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care/Disability Support or relevant qualification.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • National Police Check (completed within the last 6 months).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Understanding and commitment to maintaining consumer confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices in a care setting.
  • Greek, Turkish, Mandarin, Arabic, Dari/Persian, Tagalog speakers.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or in the care industry.
  • Experience working with diverse client groups (e.g., elderly, individuals with disabilities, etc.).
  • Additional relevant certifications or training (e.g., Manual Handling, Medication Administration, etc.).
