The Organisation

Are you passionate about HR and looking for a dynamic role in a global equipment hire organization?

My client is a global leader within specialised equipment hire and they are currently seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join their team to support their operations within VIC.

As a result of their diverse client basis and their recent acquisition by a global giant this organisation is going from strength to strength dominating the Australian market As a result they are looking to grow their HR Team by hiring a HR Coordinator to work closely with their Managers to support all HR operations.

Location: Western Suburbs, Melbourne, VIC

Working Arrangements: Hybrid role with 1 day WFH option, based in NSW with flexible start times between 7am-9am.

Reporting: You will report to the Senior HR Business Partner. The NSW HR BP has been overseeing the VIC team; however, due to increasing operations, they are looking for a HR Coordinator to the HR Business Partner and Management team

Key Duties:

  • Recruitment Administration: Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and coordination of interviews.
  • On-boarding and Off-boarding: Facilitate smooth on-boarding and off-boarding processes for new and departing employees.
  • Performance Review and Management: Support performance review processes and provide guidance on performance management issues.
  • General HR Coordination: Work closely with management to address HR-related queries and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures

Team Size and Environment: The VIC team comprises 45 members, primarily blue-collar workers, in a friendly and social environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in HR coordination or administration roles, preferably in industrial or similar sectors.
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes, onboarding/offboarding procedures, and performance management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, handle confidential information, and meet deadlines.
  • HR qualifications or certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
