We are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner - Marketing, or FP&A Specialist as we'd like to call you internally.

This is a great opportunity to use your financial expertise while gaining commercial experience, and to be at the forefront of all of JDE Australia's exciting innovations.

Our previous Finance Business Partner has, for example, put together the business case for Moccona and Cadbury mixes which are now advertised and sold in stores.

You will be based in our modern office in North Sydney, where we currently have a hybrid work policy (3 days WFO / 2 days WFH).


In this role, you will:

  • Partner with our Marketing team and oversee the Advertising and Promotion Spend (A&P)
  • Be the Finance lead for JDE's innovation pipeline and support new revenue streams through NPD business case constructions
  • Support Brand planning and analyse marketing campaigns (ROI analysis)
  • Prepare monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations related to Marketing P&L
  • Support with internal control, ad hoc analysis and continuous improvements

For this role as a Finance Business Partner, we're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • A bachelor's degree and ideally you have or are working towards a CPA or CA qualification
  • You ideally have a few years of experience in a similar role, working as a financial with a commercial team within an FMCG
  • Proficient Excel skills and preferably SAP experience
  • Preferably you have worked with Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) in the past
  • You have great attention to detail and enjoy data analysis
  • You like to take a leading role in the creation of business cases and have commercial acumen
  • You have excellent stakeholder management skills and enjoy working with both our Marketing and Finance teams
