The Role
We have a newly created opportunity to join our Corporate Strategy team as a Strategy Analyst.


The Strategy team is responsible for the development of our overall corporate strategy, including the annual strategic planning process and the formulation and execution of business plans in partnership with business units.

The team's primary role involves understanding the fast-changing developments which may impact our business, and developing, evaluating, and executing strategic initiatives to position the company for future success.


In this role, you will support the Strategy Manager in driving strategy formulation and contributing to major strategic projects by conducting research and analysis, collaborating with stakeholders to develop operational roadmaps, and owning modules of strategic work as required.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the development of the corporate strategy by synthesising insights on the near
- and long-term challenges and opportunities facing the organisation and help form considered recommendations.

  • Gathering and interpreting market, industry, and competitor intelligence to bring data and insights to the strategic discussion, and identify and articulate the relevance of insight, implications, and recommended actions.
  • Driving problem solving for complex and ambiguous business opportunities and challenges, often requiring a datadriven approach to gather insights and frame tradeoffs (business, financial, regulatory, competitive positioning, etc.) to support decisionmaking.
  • Identifying operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes to drive efficiencies in the business.

About You

  • Experience in management consulting, internal strategy, business planning, business analysis, or corporate development.
  • Tertiary education in a business, commerce, or technology related degree.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to absorb information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and disseminate actionable insights.
  • Highly analytical, with strong quantitative analysis and modelling skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated experience in managing stakeholders (internally and externally).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills.
